Please note that using recovery mode and iCloud unlock will wipe the data on your device, so make sure to back up important information before performing these steps.

- Select "All Devices", find the device you need to unlock, and click "Play Sound" to confirm the device location. If the device has been lost, this step can be omitted.
- Click "Erase iPhone/iPad", this will erase the data and password settings on your device. After the device restarts, you will be able to use a new password or set it up without a password.
- Shut down your device: Press and hold the power button and volume down button until the slide to shut down interface appears. After sliding to shut down, press and hold the power button + volume down button again until it enters recovery mode.
- Connect to computer: Connect the device to the computer using a USB cable.
- Open itunes (now "finder" on mac), select your device, click "restore iphone".
- Follow the on-screen prompts and once the recovery process is complete, you can reset your device without entering a forgotten password.
- If none of the above methods resolve the issue, you may need to contact Apple official support. They may ask you to provide information such as proof of purchase to verify your identity.
- Depending on the situation, Apple may allow you to reset your password through security verification, or recommend that you go to the nearest Apple store or authorized service provider for further assistance.
