Google's "Data Liberation" team officially released Google Blog Converters 1.0 today. This open source tool allows you to freely transfer article and comment data between different blog services. The first version provides a Python library and related executable scripts for converting various data file formats exported by Blogger, LiveJournal, MovableType and WordPress.
For blogs with small data volume (<1MB), you can use the Google App Engine service provided by this project for online data format conversion:
1. Blogger -> WordPress: http://blogger2wordpress.appspot.com/
2. WordPress -> Blogger: http://wordpress2blogger.appspot.com/
3. Livejournal -> Blogger: http://livejournal2blogger.appspot.com/
For blogs with a large amount of data, you may wish to download the source code (2.7 MB) yourself and run the relevant script to convert the data format.
Previously, Google Blogger has launched a blog import/export function to migrate, merge, and backup blog data
