The following is the transcript of this lecture:
Hello everyone, I am very happy to accept the invitation of Lao K to come to the thousand-person webmaster lecture to share with you the topic of friendly links. With the continuous development of the Internet, friendly links and SEO have become hot topics recently. Therefore, the content shared this time will involve the exchange and trading of friendly links, as well as the relationship between friendly links and SEO. There will inevitably be some problems and omissions in the content shared, so please bear with me.
1. Friendly link exchange method
Before talking about this, let me intersperse a question that webmasters often encounter. Many webmasters will ask why my website has not been included after being in operation for a long time. Let’s first look at how some webmasters who raised these questions do it. Usually, they will conduct a lot of “optimization” before the website goes online based on the content mentioned in some SEO tutorials on the Internet, including collecting thousands or tens of thousands of Content, conduct keyword density analysis on the homepage, stack a large number of keywords, put the website on the server, and then submit it to the search engine to be included. Through a large number of experiments and facts, it has been proved that this method is not effective at present, especially as the SE algorithm is continuously adjusted. So what should we do? This topic brings out the role of friendly links.
For a new website, if you want to be included quickly, the first thing you have to give up is SEO. Whether you use a CMS or a program you develop yourself, even if it is a single page, do not over-optimize the website. Organize the website structure and content very reasonably and upload them to the server. Then find a website that can be indexed by search engines that day and add a friendly link, or post an article and add an anchor link at the end of the article (note that it is best to use anchor links, do not add a lot of URLs to the article). It can be included as soon as the next day, or no more than a week at the latest. After SE includes your website, we will start to carry out optimization plans such as keyword adjustment.
Therefore, from the above content, you can see how important a high-quality friendly link is. The following is the general content of friendly link exchange to be discussed in this issue. First, let’s talk about some key points of friendly link exchange:
1. For friendly links, it is best to choose websites related to the content of your own website for link exchange;
2. PR is not the only certificate for exchanging links. Links with high PR are not necessarily high-weighted websites;
3. After exchanging links, always check the other party’s website;
4. In addition to looking at Baidu snapshots, Google snapshots are still very important.
Let’s analyze several key points of the above improvements. The first thing to consider when conducting link exchange is to consider the above contents. When doing SEO, we will often mention a topic of relevance, and the same is true for friendly links. For example, if you are a design website, the best choice for link exchange is a website related to design. The second point is that exchange also causes headaches for many webmasters, especially some small webmasters. Because of their limited resources, the PR value of the website may be very low after one or two years. But now many webmasters regard PR as exchanging links. The first threshold makes it difficult for websites without PR to replace links with sites with high PR. And do sites with high PR really have an advantage? In many cases, there may be an element of luck in a site with high PR. For example, if a website happens to have a site with high PR and few export links, then it adds a new site to itself. A single link will be passed through PR when the next PR is updated. This new site may obtain a high PR value, and then this new site, a "high PR" site, can be used to replace some old sites with the same PR or There are some sites with low PR and good weight. In this process, it is a loss for those sites with low PR and high weight.
The third point is also more important. Many webmasters do not often review the link to the other party after exchanging links, but continue to exchange other links. However, after a period of time, they suddenly encounter a situation and inexplicably find that their website's inclusion has dropped. , the problem of ranking decline, which may involve server and program issues, but friendly links also have a large impact. It may be that the other site was fine during the link exchange period, but was punished by the search engine for spam after a while. , and because you are exchanging links with him, it will also affect your own website. Therefore, after exchanging links, you should always check the status of the other party's site.
The fourth point is somewhat similar to the second point. When exchanging links, many webmasters, in addition to looking at PR, also check whether the Baidu snapshot of the other website is within a day or a few days. Very few people will look at Google's snapshot. There is a taken-for-granted view that a high weight on Baidu must have a high weight on Google. In fact, this is not the case. Webmasters who often observe carefully will find that the snapshot of some websites on Baidu may be within a day, but the snapshot on Google may be a week or even more than a month ago. What does this mean? When your site is updated quickly in search engines, it is equivalent to spending a week or a month to continuously transfer weight to the other party. Therefore, you should also pay attention to this point, especially those who are doing English website optimization.
Friendly link exchange basically covers these key points, and there may be some omissions. If you have good suggestions, you can add them. Let’s talk about the issue of link trading.
2. Friendly link trading issues
The Internet has evolved into a resource market. We have seen that some listed companies and some relatively influential domestic companies are involved in purchasing a large number of friendly links. Therefore, in the final analysis, the topic of SEO is nothing more than a struggle for resources. Whoever has the resources can achieve better ranking performance. Of course, this is all beside the point. For those wealthy companies, it is a trivial matter for them to spend tens of thousands of dollars every month to buy links. But for webmasters, the website’s advertising revenue for a month may be just enough to maintain the cost of a server. There will be more money to invest in link purchases. If you have to buy, you have to choose "excellent varieties."
When buying friendly links, you need to pay attention to the "three things": look at the inclusion, look at the weight, look at the number of exported links, and don't just look at PR.
At present, many websites are not actually selling "links", but "PR". Some webmasters spend a lot of money to buy high PR sites in order to increase PR and weight, but in the end they find that PR has not been improved. Why? It is suggested that these webmasters can refer to the PR algorithm. Most of the people who encounter this situation have bought high PR websites that export dozens or even hundreds of external links, so the PR is passed to your website. There are very few on it.
Look at the inclusion. The higher the inclusion, it means that the weight of this site is good. If possible, buy a link to the entire site and the effect of cultivating your own site will be obvious.
Look at the weight. How do you look at the weight? Combined with the inclusion mentioned in the previous point, also look at whether there are sitelinks, whether it is included in Dmoz, etc. If these points are met, then it is undoubtedly a high-weight site. Similarly, bargaining is also important during the link transaction process.
Finally, I would like to mention the site network. The site network is a tool that provides Baidu index, related search terms and website hot word queries. Many people have used the site network to "dig words" to get hundreds of thousands of traffic. Especially with the recent reshuffle of the Internet, for us webmasters, traffic is everything, and it is most practical to increase traffic in a down-to-earth manner. At the same time, we also recommend that everyone exchange links and purchase links to the new link platform, the website address is www.xinlianjie.com . The new link is a platform built by taking into account the conventional problems that webmasters currently encounter in the process of exchanging and trading links. Okay, due to time constraints, I will share it here today, thank you.
Special reminder: The Webmasters Association www.zzlhh.org has been officially launched, and mutual aid promotion is in full swing. Nearly 400 sites have participated.
