"Darker and Darker Mobile Game" is a strategic project being developed by BLUEHOLE STUDIO, a game production studio owned by KRAFTON. Since the first half of 2023, outstanding developers from various studios within KRAFTON have gathered at BLUEHOLE STUDIO to jointly develop the game. After signing the global licensing agreement for the game in August, only the game name of the original "Darker and Darker" was used in the project, and other game assets were 100% independently developed by BLUEHOLE STUDIO. With the joint efforts of the developers, the visuals and atmosphere of the game were restored extremely quickly.
"Darker and Darker Mobile Game" is planned to be released in 2024. The characteristic of the game is that it fully integrates the "survival" elements of the battle royale type game, the "exploration" element of the dungeon exploration type game, and the iconic elements of RPG games, delivering the exciting gaming experience of the original work. At the same time, KRAFTON has also optimized its gaming experience on mobile platforms based on its experience in the global mobile gaming market.
KRAFTON signed a global exclusive licensing agreement with game developer IRONMACE in August for the "Darker and Darker" IP mobile game. KRAFTON noticed that "Darker and Darker", as a Korean game, has attracted the interest and attention of global fans in the game market with its original IP, expanding the creative level of the global game market.
