Webmasters often ask Jiang Pingzhong whether my website has been K-ed, why my website has been included less, why my website’s ranking has dropped... and other questions. So, why do the above problems occur? In fact, when we operate SEO, we must avoid things that will be considered SPAM by search engines. Search engines will use the following methods to determine whether a website is SPAM:
(1) Number of links to domain names and IP addresses
This method is generally to check whether the website specifically provides pages with link services. If there are too many export links to this page, search engines may determine that the website is SPAM. Of course, navigation websites are not included in this list. For example, search engines will have their own different algorithms and response methods for websites such as hao123, 265, and DMOZ.
Countermeasures: Pay special attention when making friendly links. Do not provide export links to websites that have been punished, and do not have too many external links on one page.
(2) Judgment of keyword density
In fact, the accumulation of this keyword is easily recognized as SPAM by search engines. For example, Jiang Pingzhong recently conducted an experiment and added a lot of weight loss keywords to a "weight loss blog", such as "weight loss recipes, weight loss misunderstandings, weight loss rankings, weight loss drugs," in the title, description, keyWords, etc. If you use a series of keywords such as "exercise weight loss, abdominal weight loss, slimming and weight loss, quick weight loss, lazy people's weight loss, commonly used weight loss", search engines will easily identify them as SPAM, and then the homepage will not be included, while the inner pages that are not stacked will be included. . Generally, it is best to control the density of keywords below 7%.
Solution: It is most appropriate to control the keywords of the page to 3%-7%.
(3) Page similarity analysis
When many pages under the same domain name have similar or identical content, search engines will also determine that the website belongs to SPAM. Of course, some webmasters unintentionally publish several identical articles. The articles they published once were published again today. Then, webmasters may need to pay attention to this. When choosing a program, it is best to choose a CMS or blog system that will prompt you for publishing duplicate titles. For example: Dedecms will prompt when the title of the published content is repeated, and phpwind will also prompt when the same content is published and submitted several times.
Countermeasures: Each page on the website must have unique content, and do not access one page from multiple addresses.
(4) There are content that netizens find objectionable or boastful content
The correlation between keywords can be obtained from training SPAM samples and non-SPAM samples. Generally, if "free" or "ringtone download" appears on a page, it cannot be judged as SPAM, but if "free" and "ringtone download" appear at the same time, it may be considered SPAM. For example, the "SEO Engineer" launched by Liweihui, the registration unit is the China Electronic Commerce Association. Well, this SEO engineer certification is not officially launched by the search engine. The search engine is very likely to be disgusted with the SEO certification series training launched by it, and it may also be considered SPAM. In addition, some well-known site group software and well-known collectors have also been suppressed by search engines, because this is exactly what search engines prohibit, such as: Xiake site group and madman collectors, etc.
Countermeasures: Avoid keywords that are objectionable to netizens or search engines, such as "free lottery", "free prize winning activities", "SEO certification", "free mobile ringtones".
(5) Establish a SPAM blacklist
If a server IP or cheating domain name is recorded by a search engine multiple times, the search engine will directly put it into a blacklist or a database pending review and observation period. Therefore, if you make a friendly link with such a penalized link, you will be jointly and severally liable. For example: Jiang Pingzhong's Xiake Webmaster website was linked to the Madman Organ Collection Network. Later, it was discovered that his website was hacked, which resulted in the Xiake Webmaster website also being demoted.
Countermeasures: Before registering a domain name, check whether the domain name has been registered or punished before. When selecting a server, check whether there is a domain name under the IP that has been penalized by search engines. When making friend links, do not link to websites that have been SPAMed.
(6)Leave a comment trap
I originally created some blogs myself, and later opened up functions such as commenting on articles and leaving messages. In this way, when some automated message programs or spam external links are recorded, it will become a "trap" and your blog will most likely be demoted. For example: Lu Songsong's blog originally had PR5, but later opened the blog post comment function, resulting in about 500-800 comments every day, followed by all message content with links, which is likely to leave some spam links, causing the blog's weight to drop to PR3.
Countermeasures: If the website has BLOG system, guestbook and other functions, pay attention to the content of the messages and check whether there are spam links in the links. If there are too many spam links, you can also consider commenting on key external links and only open content comments. Of course, as a result, many SEO webmasters will no longer leave comments, and the popularity of the blog may be affected. This depends on the webmaster's popularity or weight. Of course, the weight of a popular blog will not be too bad.
