PS converts pictures into vector style paintings

This tutorial first uses the woodcut effect to roughly make the image into a vector effect, and then uses the Topaz filter to process the linear effect. The effect is very realistic! This tutorial requires the use of the Topaz filter. If you haven’t installed it yet, please click here to download it!

1. Open the original image and execute: Filter > Artistic Effect > Woodcut. Set as appropriate to get an effect similar to the one below.

2. Use the topaz filter to make the edges clearer and can be used multiple times depending on the situation.

3. Use the minimum value method to obtain the line drawing layer. Please search for "line drawing" for the method.

4. Change the line drawing layer to the color deepening mode, adjust the appropriate opacity, and get the final effect. If the edges are not clear, you can do other sharpening processes.
