I have been working in Zhengzhou for almost a year and have been doing website optimization for 4 or 5 months. First of all, I really like this part. I first came into contact with Webmaster.com and Webmaster Home. I slowly grew and accumulated little by little based on other people’s experiences. Now I don’t say how high-level I am, but I at least have some cases for building websites and optimizing plans. However, the author is confused now. Today I will analyze the reasons based on my own experience:
1. The boss’s understanding of the website is too simple – he thinks that one person can handle it and get results quickly. My first website optimization job was a franchise website. The company had just been established, and when I went there the company's website had already been built (made by a website building company). Everyone who does SEO knows that website SEO planning is best done before building the website. But now most website optimization in Zhengzhou is like this. There were three of us at that time, because they had a Taobao store, which was basically their own website. The website is a website imitating a franchise brand in this industry. The company has been operating for more than ten years. The difficulty can be imagined, but the boss doesn't think so. The boss wants to see results within two to three months. Of course, the boss’s goal is to find franchisees online. I arranged my own work plan, content creation (pseudo-original), and filled in the website. It basically took more than a month. In fact, a lot of product content only uploaded pictures. Basically, after more than a month, the less popular keywords are also ranked well. However, there are no franchisees, and the boss has no intention of raising wages. Often our work is not recognized by others, and he thinks you are lazy in front of the computer every day.
2. The boss doesn’t care about SEO—anyone can do it, and the one who deceived you is the one who just graduated. This was when I was interviewing for an internet marketing company. I heard their company profile at that time and it was very impressive. I thought it was the birthplace of Sister Furong and Sister Feng in Zhengzhou. After talking with their boss, I had an epiphany. At that time, we had a group interview, and there was another person who was interviewing for website optimization like me. The boss asked us about our work situation. We were all the same. It was almost a year after graduation. That friend used to do warehouse management. After all, I had some experience, and I thought I had some advantages. The boss at that time heard the next sentence, which killed me. The boss said that in the field of website optimization and promotion, it doesn’t matter whether you have experience or not, as long as you are willing to learn. I can go to work tomorrow, so I dismissed it in two sentences. I was very unhappy at the time. In their eyes, website optimization was so eazy! Anyone could do it, and they could predict the future work situation. However, I still went there for a long time because I knew whether it was what I thought. I asked my colleagues who have been working there for a while. They just get a few articles from other websites every day and post them to another website. And when you open their website, 360 will pop up a dialog box saying that the website contains illegal information.
3. Website optimization does not live up to expectations - we should have a clear understanding of real website optimization. I now work in a hospital doing website optimization. It can be said that the hospital has invested a lot in this area. I listened to the supervisor explain to me how to do it. The summary is to seize the keyword position, create a title, and collect content from other websites, regardless of whether the content matches what the title says. For example: The title is "How much does surgery cost to treat body odor in Zhengzhou?" The content indeed talks about folk remedies for treating body odor. Then stack keywords. This kind of advertising is posted on the street, and now it has been moved online. Holy shit, let me ask the so-called SEO experts, is this called SEO? It’s not that the SEO threshold is low, it’s you who have lowered it yourself. What you do is not SEO.
Faced with these, the author is very helpless. I think many friends who like SEO like me also have the same confusion as me. I can only keep making friends who really like SEO, SEO must stick together. There is a long way to go, and we are on the way. Blessings to all who dream and persevere.
