Comparison between original image and final rendering
1. Use PS to open the image to be processed:
2. First adjust the tone of the picture. Here I select the curve adjustment layer. From the histogram, there are basically no pixels in the highlight part of the picture, so we adjust the curve to brighten the picture. While brightening, I suppress it. The dark parts of the picture enhance the contrast of the tones, and the mid-tones are appropriately raised to match the adjustments of the highlights and dark parts.
3. After adjusting the tone, we start to adjust the color of the picture. Here I do not prefer hue/saturation but choose to use the optional color adjustment layer. The reason why I use this tool is that this tool can be used during color adjustment. Mix various colors and control the black component of each color to help make the petals look more translucent. Mix the three main colors of the picture, namely the red of the petals, the yellow of the stamens and the leaves. green.
4. Finally, we perform down-sharpening on the background layer. Here I use UMS sharpening. The advantage of this is that it can be sharpened multiple times with smaller values, which makes it easier for us to control the scale of sharpening.
5. Finally, I would like to add a few words. During the adjustment process, we can use layer mask, saturation, color balance and other tools together according to different needs. It is correct to use various tools flexibly for different pictures. Don't just follow the same routine. Below is the rendering of my adjustment. I personally like the tone to be a bit heavier. This is just for your reference. The specific operation depends on personal preference.
