It can be roughly divided into three major steps: The first step is to fine-tune the color and contrast of the picture to achieve a high-definition and high-contrast tone. The second step is to use a filter to enhance the clarity of the image and appropriately reduce the saturation of the image. The third step is post-processing of details, repairing overexposed and dark parts to make the picture more unified.

1. First, let’s add a Levels adjustment layer to enhance the overall contrast. The values are as shown below.
2. Now let’s add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and reduce the saturation. If you like, you can also adjust the hue using the Hue slider in this step.
3. Now let’s add a Curves adjustment layer to further adjust the contrast and brightness. You need to add three node adjustments as shown below.
4. Now, we want to add clarity. Duplicate the background layer and press Ctrl + Shift + ] to put it on top. Then go to: Filter > Other > High Contrast Preserve, with a value of at least 10.
5. Set the blending mode of this layer to "Overlay".
6. The face is a bit overexposed and needs to be repaired simply by using the burn tool.
7. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer. Select the burn tool, set the exposure to: 50%, and darken the red area in the picture below slightly.
8. Select the Dodge Tool to slightly brighten the eyes.
