This tutorial introduces a more refreshing method of coloring pictures. The process is not very complicated. First, simply whiten the character part, and then adjust the background and skin color appropriately. The overall look is fresh and sweet.

1. Open the original image material, press Ctrl + Alt + ~ to extract the highlight selection, press Ctrl + Alt + D to feather 5 pixels, press Ctrl + Shift + I to make the selection, and press Ctrl + J after confirmation to copy the selected part of the image to a new layer to get layer 1.

2. Create a color balance adjustment layer and adjust the midtones. Values: -28, 0, 24.

3. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, press Ctrl + Alt + ~ to bring up the highlight selection, feather it appropriately and press Ctrl + J to copy the selected part of the image to a new layer. Get layer 3.

4. Create a curve adjustment layer, adjust the overall color appropriately, and customize the value.
