URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is also called a website address, translated as Uniform Resource Locator. Represents the Internet addresses of various resources.
The URL can consist of words, such as "cankoushouce.com", or an Internet Protocol (IP) address: 192.168.1.1. Most people type the domain name of a website when they surf the web because names are easier to remember than numbers.
When a link in an HTML page is clicked, the corresponding <a> tag points to an address on the World Wide Web. Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) are used to locate documents (or other data) on the World Wide Web. URLs, such as http://cankaoshouce.com/html/html-url.html, comply with the following syntax rules:
