A simple ring is completed. To change the color, you can use CTRL+B or CTRL+U to adjust each layer, or you can merge all the ring layers and then execute CTRL+B or CTRL+U. Change the color uniformly, and connect all layers (except the background layer). Press CTRL+T to rotate the angle to make the picture look more dynamic.
1. Create a new file, set the size to 350X250, RGB mode, white background 72DPI.
2. Create a new layer 1, use the Elliptical Marquee Tool, and draw an ellipse (Figure 1).
3. Select the Gradient Fill Tool, select the metallic gradient color as the fill color (Picture 2), and drag the mouse from the upper right corner of the selection to the lower left corner of the selection to fill the selection (Picture 3).
4. Use the Elliptical Marquee Tool to select the lower half of the gradient-filled ellipse (Figure 4), and feather the selection by one pixel (this is to make the edges of the object smooth and soft). Delete part of the selection.
5. Copy layer 1 as a copy of layer 1, double-click this layer with the mouse, check the inner shadow effect in the layer style panel, set the size of the inner shadow to 12 pixels, and add this layer Change the blending mode to Lighten (image 5).
6. Make a copy of Layer 1 as Layer 1 Copy 2, and execute menu-Image-Transform-Flip Horizontally, so that the outer side of the ring comes out (Figure 6).
7. Double-click copy 2 of layer 1, and then select Outer Glow, Bevel and Emboss, and Glossy in the pop-up layer style panel. Set the glow color of the outer glow to white, set the extension to 0%, and set the size to 1 Pixels; set the Size in Bevel and Emboss to 50 pixels, Soften to 8 pixels, Angle in Shadows to 30 degrees, Height to 0 degrees, and Glossy Contours to the end of the first row. One style; once finished set the Opacity in the Glossy Effect to 50%, the Angle to 20 degrees, the Distance to 1 pixel, and the Size to 7 pixels (Figure 7).
8. Copy Layer 1 Copy 2 to Layer 1 Copy 3, turn off all effects in this layer, execute menu-Filter-Artistic Effect-Plastic Packaging, set the highlight intensity to 20, and set the details to 1 , set the Smoothness to 15, and change the layer blending mode to Hard Light. After completion, you can see the highlights on the surface of the ring (Figure 8).
9. Double-click layer 1 and copy layer 3, turn on the outer glow effect and inner glow effect, set the outer glow color to white, and set the expansion and size to 0. This will eliminate the burrs on the edge of the ring, and then Set the glow color of the inner glow to white, change the 'Source' in the pixel area to Center, set the blocking to 0%, set the size to 35 pixels, and then select Contours in 'Quality'. The second style in the first row makes the ring appear rounded and has light and dark sides (Picture 9).
