Create beautiful Christmas card animations with Photoshop (1)

December 25th every year is the day when most Christians around the world commemorate the birth of Jesus, commonly known as Christmas. Christmas is coming soon, and the Comprehensive Forum held a prize-winning event "Christmas Decoration Post Competition!" 》, in order to celebrate Christmas, I also prepared a simple animation tutorial for everyone.

Let’s take a look at the final effect:

Christmas

Step 1: Execute the [File-Open] command to open the material background file, remove the redundant text, and execute the [Image-Image Size] command to reduce it to 500×375 pixels. The setting effect is as shown in [Figure 1]; create a new image layer, fill it with blue (color code 336dc0), set the background layer blending mode to Screen, and set the opacity to 30%. The effect is as shown in [Figure 2];

Step 2: Open the material Christmas tree, reduce it to a suitable size, adjust it to a suitable position, create a new layer, use a brush with a hardness of 0, choose your favorite color and brush on the lights on the Christmas tree; the effect is as shown in [Picture] 3] shown;

Step 3: Open the gift material, change the size, and place it in the corresponding position on the Christmas tree. I hung the small gift on the tree and placed the big star on the top. You can also place it according to your own preferences. The effect is shown in [Picture 4] ];

Step 4: Open the Santa Claus material, change the size, and place it in the lower right corner. Open the Santa Claus balloon material, resize it and place it above Santa Claus. Erase the excess lines with an eraser. The effect is shown in [Picture 5];

Step 5: Open the note material, resize it, and place it on the background staff. See [Picture 6] for the effect;

Step 6: Set the foreground color to red (color code e60012) and enter the two words "Christmas" respectively. The setting effect is shown in [Picture 7]. Open the Santa Claus text decoration material, zoom out and adjust it to the point of the word "Christmas", the effect is shown in [Picture 7] Picture 8];

Step 7: ctrl+text Santa layer, shift+ctrl+text Santa layer, shift+ctrl+Santa text decoration layer to get the selection, create a new layer, fill it with white, adjust the layer order to below the two text layers, set The layer effect is outer glow; see [Picture 9] for the setting effect; see [Picture 10] for the obtained effect;
