Source: Tutorial.com Author: Unknown The whitening method in this tutorial is very unique. The author uses the distortion filter to diffuse the highlights. This filter may be rarely used, but it can enhance the texture of a character's skin color when used to whiten it. And the parameter settings inside are also very simple. If you like the following effects, you can try it more. Original picture

1. Open the original image material and press Ctrl + J to duplicate the background layer. Press Ctrl + Alt + ~ to bring up the highlight selection, set the foreground color to black and white and the background color to white. Execute: Filter > Distort > Diffuse Highlight value and set it to default value. After confirming it, I found that it was too white, so I changed the layer opacity to: 60%. The effect is as shown below.
2. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer.
3. Create a Curves adjustment layer and appropriately enhance the contrast of the image. The effect is as shown below.
4. Create a color balance adjustment layer and increase the magenta value appropriately. The effect is as shown below.
5. I found that the picture is a bit reddish. Create a Curves adjustment layer again, select red, and adjust downward to reduce the red color a little. The effect is as shown below.
6. Create a new layer, set the foreground color to pink: #F1A0C1, select the brush tool to add blush to the character, and adjust the layer opacity appropriately.
7. Create a new layer and stamp the layer. Use Neat image to sharpen the skin, set the values by yourself, add a layer mask after confirmation, and use a black brush to erase the parts with too strong texture. The effect is as shown below.
