As a classic Chinese painting style, ink painting has always been widely praised. But every time I want to complete an ink painting, I need a lot of pen, ink, paper and inkstone. In fact, after cleverly setting up the brushes in Photoshop, you can also draw a classic ink painting on your computer. Today, the editor will introduce how to set up ink brushes.
First, after creating a new PS document, set its brush and select a brush with a soft angle of 21 pixels.
In the brush presets, check the "Shape Dynamics" and "Dual Brush" options.
Now that you have selected a dual brush, you need to choose a secondary brush. You can choose a 24-pixel splash brush.
If the dynamic state is checked, the brush can have a gradient effect of thickness. If it is not checked, the width of the brush will be the same.
At this point, the brush settings are complete. Next, you can use your painting skills to draw a soft ink painting.
Tips: After setting the brush, you can adjust the transparency and flow of the brush as needed when using it to achieve a more realistic ink effect.
Adjusting the transparency can change the shade of the brush. If you keep clicking the mouse and do not release it while painting, the shade it shows will not change. The adjustment of the flow rate can make the brush produce continuous changes. If you keep clicking the mouse without releasing it to draw, the shades it displays will change in a superimposed manner.
