This tutorial introduces the production of a very personalized needlework lettering effect. Mainly using the brush, you can create a knitting-like effect after simple settings, and then add the appropriate layer style, and the effect will come out.
final effect
1. First create a new document with a size of 540X300. (Know how to activate the locked background generated when creating a new one! Double-click the layer to get it!)
2. Double-click the background layer again or create a layer style, select Pattern Overlay, import Pattern 2, select the pattern as shown in the picture, zoom 100%, and OK!
3. Create a new text layer and enter text. (Text should be in thicker fonts as much as possible, and of course graphics are also acceptable!)
4. Create a selection of the text layer, select the rectangular marquee tool, and right-click the mouse to create a working path. (Hold down Ctrl + click on the text layer to create a selection. If you are using a version before PS2, you need to click on the blue background of the layer. If you are using PS3, you need to click on the preview box! Everyone knows)
5. Select the brush, load the brush, and press F5 to pop up the brush preset, as defined in the figure.
