Final effect:
1. Open the original image material, select the menu: Image > Image Size, and double the original image to: 800 x 1102 pixels.
2. Now when we observe the image, we find that it is a bit blurry, so we perform skin resurfacing on the character, using the method of our choice. Then to deal with the eyes, my usual approach is to create a new layer, adjust the brush to black pixel 4, and switch to the pen tool to stroke the eyelids. Then create a new layer, adjust the brush to black pixels 2 pen strokes, as shown in the picture, and then use a Gaussian blur of about 2-3. Adjust the opacity appropriately to make it look blended with the character, then use the smudge tool to carefully smear around the eyes, and set the smudge tool pressure to: 30%.
3. To process the nose, use the pen tool to outline the nose, then create a new selection and use the 20% burn tool to paint on the edges to make the nose outline more obvious.
4. To deal with the mouth part, mainly use the dodge tool to adjust the highlights.
