Hey, many people question the possibility of learning mouse painting in 30 days. One thing to note here is that if you don’t know what a mouse is, then there is really nothing I can do about it. If you are good at CS, then there is no problem. What I can bring to you is my thoughts when painting, and the methods are just for reference. Ideas are better than methods.
First, let's review the previous courses, 1. Understanding the main tools of mouse drawing ---> 2. Drawing basic geometric shapes ---> 3. Drawing polygonal objects (cans) ---> 4. Deepening practice with pen/smudge tools. Previous These lessons take 10 days to practice. How many days did it take you? How many times did you draw? Haste makes waste~
This lesson brings you coloring exercises. The purpose is to familiarize yourself with the outline of each part of the character and practice the pen tool.
1. One target picture
(The picture comes from the Internet. If it violates your personal privacy, we will delete it immediately)
2. Use the pen tool to trace the path of each part (hair, headgear, skin, clothes, etc.) to create an independent path.
(This step is just like drawing a line draft)
3. Create a skin layer/convert the skin path to a selection/fill the skin color/layer mode to soft light/
(Note: Here I use overlay coloring, for example, create a skin layer on top of the target layer, and then change the layer mode to soft light/overlay and other modes. The biggest advantage of this method is that it does not damage the original image. You can do whatever you want after completion. Adjust the color of each part, MYBLGO)
(The skin color is the best one that I spent most of the night adjusting. I can use this color for future coloring)
4. Select the skin layer and use the sponge tool to erase the color of the eyes. There are other places that are not skin color. Don’t ask me where else, look in the mirror and observe for yourself.
5. Color the lips, convert the lip pen path into a selection/create a lip color layer/fill color red/layer mode is color deepening
(You can decide the lip filling color yourself, based on personal preference. After the filling is completed, use the smudge tool to wipe around the lower lip to make the color blend. Here is a little tip to tell you, when painting, there are some parts that are prone to color/light and dark." For cracks and "spots", here you can use the smudge tool to move it left and right, up and down, and the "cracks" and "spots" will disappear. The blur tool is definitely useful.)
6. Use the smudge tool to wipe the place where the skin color meets the hair to make it initially blend.
