The sketch creation in this tutorial is a bit special. The author did not use filters to create it. Just use the brush tool to make it. The outlines of the characters are drawn with smaller brushes, and then completed with watercolor brushes. The effect is very realistic.

final effect
1. Open an image with a horizontal width of 500 pixels, and let us scale the image to 5 times the original image. Execute from "Image" ---- "Image Size". Your image will look worse after this step.
2. After getting a suitable image size, create a new layer named "Sketch Line Art" layer, select the brush tool, use a dark brown, the brush size is 2 pixels, the opacity is 100, and then reduce the transparency of the original image. to 75% so you can see a clear line art.
Now go back to the "Sketch Line Art" layer and use the brush to roughly draw some line drawings on the layer. The technique used here is very simple and intuitive. Use the brush to roughly establish the image. If you have some line art that's messed up, don't delete it yet. This will help with the artistic effect we're trying to create. Pay attention to drawing along the texture of the original image. For example, follow the hair and eyes and follow the texture randomly. To draw some lines randomly, a good trick is to hold down the left mouse button and draw back and forth repeatedly without placing it in the same place, instead of clicking once with the mouse and drawing again. You can see this process in the picture below. effects at different stages.
3. It looks good so far. You need to continue to draw other parts of the characters in the picture with line sketches (just draw the characters in the picture and not the background).
Now you need to give the line art some variation. To better capture the shadows of the person, to do this you need to display the image full size and use a brush to draw lines along the shadows of the image so that it looks like the lines cover the shadows of the image. Of course, these operations must still be performed on the "Sketch Line Art" layer.
