1. Open a portrait photo, as shown in Figure 1.
2. Drag the background layer to the "Create New Layer" button to copy it to generate a "Background Copy" layer.
3. Execute the "Image" → "Adjustment" → "Channel Mixer" command in the menu bar, and select the "Black and White with Green Filter" option in the "Preset" drop-down list of the pop-up dialog box, as shown in Figure 02 Show.
After completion, click the OK button to make the image appear grayscale, as shown in Figure 03.
4. Execute the "Image" → "Adjustment" → "Curve" command in the menu bar, and set various parameters in the pop-up dialog box, as shown in Figure 04. After completion, click the OK button to increase the contrast of the image. The effect As shown in Figure 05.
5. Click the Lasso tool in the toolbox to create a selection in the dark part of the left face of the character, as shown in Figure 6. In the pop-up dialog box, set the "Feather Radius" to 10 pixels, as shown in Figure 07.
6. Then execute the "Image" → "Adjustment" → "Curve" command in the menu bar, and set various parameters in the pop-up dialog box, as shown in Figure 08. After completion, click the OK button. The effect is as shown in Figure 09. Show.
