This tutorial explains how to tone darker tones. The general idea is to use the channel selection to extract the red or other channel selection, then copy the selected part of the image, and then fill the background with black. The photo will feel much darker.

1. Open the original image material, copy the background layer, and use the stamp tool to remove the small acne on the face first. The effect is as shown in Figure 1.

2. Start grinding, create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, execute: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, the value is 4, after confirmation, hold down the Alt key and add a layer mask , and then use a white brush to paint the spots on the character's face. Do not paint the outline of the facial features. Refer to Figure 2 for the effect and layers.

3. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, change the blending mode of the stamped layer to "Multiply", add a layer mask and use a black brush to erase the character part, the effect is as shown in Figure 3.

4. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, and execute: Image > Apply Image. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 4, and the effect is as shown in Figure 5.

5. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, press Ctrl + Alt + 1 to bring up the red channel selection, press Ctrl + J to copy it to a new layer, and then create a new layer below it and fill it with black. The effect is as shown below.

6. Duplicate the stamp layer under the black fill layer, press Ctrl + Shift + ] to move it to the top of the layer, hold down the Alt key and add a layer mask, and use a white brush to slightly paint the character's face. Come out, the effect is as shown in Figure 7.
