Well...well...I copied a picture of Reimu some time ago. The purpose was to teach some of my classmates how to color. Haha, I later found that teaching others can also be a good way to summarize the knowledge I have learned. , so I sorted out these steps, which is a summary, and can also benefit others (it doesn’t take too long to learn painting by myself, so please forgive me for any shortcomings)
Here is the tutorial
First, I scanned the line drawing.
Use PS curves or color levels to process line drawings. My requirement is that the lines can be clearly seen.
Apply the background color under the line drawing layer, because this way the main color will not cover up the lines.
I drew out the dark parts of the face. I was so absorbed in drawing the eyes that I forgot to save the steps... But the method is the same. You think the eyes are glowing because I drew the lines of the eyes very darkly.
Draw the dark parts of the clothes. I recommend using a harder brush
To draw hair, in this Japanese style, lines are basically used to express the hierarchical relationship of the hair. The thicker areas use heavier lines, and the thinner areas use thinner lines.
Use dead black lines to draw the shadow part to enrich the layers of the clothes.
