This tutorial briefly introduces how to create beautiful patterns on character clothes or skirts. The general idea is to find a suitable pattern first, then cut out the parts of the clothes where the pattern needs to be added, and then apply the pattern to the clothes. Use filters to create some simple distortions to make the pattern more realistic.

1. Open the original image and make a copy of it as a background copy.
2. Cut out the characters in the picture, and you can use various cutout methods (I use the extraction and pen tools).
3. Open a background image, use the move tool to drag it to the lower layer of the background copy layer, generate layer 1, and adjust the size appropriately.
4. Click on the background copy to make it the current operating layer, use the Magic Wand Tool to select a selection of the character’s white clothes, (pay attention to the details of the necklace and hair) and feather the selection by 1 pixel.
5. Open the floral cloth material, press the shortcut key Ctrl+A to select the canvas and then press Ctrl+C to copy.
