The tones used in this tutorial are relatively professional. The combination of cyan and yellow creates a greater contrast in tones, making it easier to highlight the main body of the character. Then add some cute decorative elements to make the picture more vivid.

1. Press CTRL+J to copy the background twice to obtain a copy of Layer 1 and Layer 1. Set their blending mode and opacity respectively: Layer 1 Screen Color, Opacity 25%.
Change the blending mode of the copy of layer 1 to: Soft Light and the opacity to: 40%. The effect is as shown below.
2. Then create a new layer on top of all layers, fill it with color #fff200, and set the blending mode to soft light and opacity 41%.
3. Copy the background layer again to get a new layer on top of the background layer. Select this layer and execute Selective Color (Image--Adjustment--Selective Color) to adjust the red, yellow, and neutral colors respectively. The method is relative.
