The author's skin resurfacing part is very unique. He uses a filter to find the selected areas of the character's spots, and then slightly whitens them to eliminate the spots. Then do the overall whitening and color adjustment.

1. Open the material picture, enter the channel panel, make a copy of the blue channel, and then execute: Filter > Sketch > Copy on the blue channel copy. The parameter settings are as shown below.
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert, load the selection, return to the layer panel, create a curve adjustment layer, and set the parameters as shown below.
3. Use a black paintbrush to erase the parts you don’t need to operate.
4. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, enter the channel panel, copy the blue channel, and execute the blue copy channel: Filter > Others > High Contrast Preservation, Parameter Settings As shown in the left picture below, confirm and then execute: Image > Adjustment > Threshold. The parameters and effects are as shown below.
