Most children around one year old can already walk, but they still have no "root" under their feet. Without the "personal protection" of their parents, they are in danger of falling at any time. Of course parents should follow suit, but this creates some problems for photography. When photographing children, you have to take care of many issues such as lighting, expressions, movements, angles, etc. It is also difficult to keep the camera away from the parents. A common situation is that part of the parent's body is included in the picture, which affects the beauty of the work, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 2 is the processed photo.

Let's first analyze this picture and find out the ideas for modification. The standard is precision, efficiency, and real results:
Analysis 1: First, users will think of using the imitation stamp tool to cover up the character’s legs. But you will find that the ground is a wooden floor, there are perspectives and angles, and it is difficult to align if you use imitation stamps. Obviously, this approach is not optimal.
Analysis 2: It is theoretically possible to use the vanishing point tool to imitate perspective. However, any imitation tool is based on the imitation source. The richer the "source", the better the imitation effect will be. However, the legs and long shadows in the picture prevent us from finding the large "source", which results in the imitation of the ground being very repetitive and not realistic enough.
Analysis results: The most important thing in this case is to try to get the largest area of "source" that can be imitated, so that the imitated floor will be authentic and credible.
1. Observe the photo. The most likely location for large-scale imitation sources should be on the left side, but the shadow causes some trouble. Start by using the Polygonal Lasso Tool to roughly select the shadow on the left side, being a little more careful near the clothes. As shown in Figure 3.

2. Execute the menu command "Select>Adjust Edges" to enter this dialog box. Set Smooth to "6", Feather to "5", and Shrink/Expand to "2%" to make the edges of the selection softer. As shown in Figure 4.
Figure 4
3. Select the "Levels" button in the adjustment panel to add an adjustment layer. Adjust the midtone slider to the left to a value of "1.23". As you can preview in the picture, the shadow has been basically eliminated. As shown in Figure 5. Once done, Ctrl+E to merge the layers.

4. Of course, the color of the shadow is not completely uniform. There is still a slight difference between the edge and the surrounding floor, so we need to use the vanishing point tool to further improve the removal of the shadow. Execute the menu "Filter > Vanishing Point" to enter this dialog box. Use the "Create Plane Tool" and click four times to create a grid based on the direction of the floor. If the grid is blue, it means the creation is successful, and if it is yellow, it is unsuccessful. If the creation fails, you can use the "Edit Plane Tool" to adjust the four corners of the grid until the grid is blue. As shown in Figure 6.

5. After the grid is successfully created, you need to use the "Stamp Tool" to copy the source to cover the imperfect positions. There are two things that need to be covered. One is to repair the imperfections in the previous shadows, and the other is to eliminate the floor texture that has too obvious characteristics. The reason is very simple. When the characteristics are too obvious, it is easy to see the flaws. Press the Alt key to sample the floor. In order to facilitate observation, I displayed the sample on white clothes, as shown in Figure 7. But in actual operation, you need to follow the "vein path" of the floor to imitate. In addition, the diameter of the stamp should be increased and the hardness should be as soft as possible.
