My deepest understanding of texture is to explore the details of the original image to the greatest extent.
Tips for expressing texture: Applying images
In Image - Apply Image, change the channels, blending and opacity and get lots of unexpected effects!
It is very practical and can basically create the main effect of "chocolate skin color" or "low saturation texture skin color" in one step.
Recommended usage: For photos of people, use Multiply. Generally, the blue channel is used more often, and the effect is more novel.
Open the picture. By the way, cut out the picture. For the convenience of beginners, please bypass it by yourself if you know how to cut out. For this kind of picture with a single background color, the best way is to extract it, select "Force Foreground" and then use a straw to select the color of the edge of the hair. After getting the result, use the history brush to paint out the parts of the character other than the hair. If you feel that the hair If the details are weak, make a duplicate layer. When using the history brush, it is best to put a layer of blue under the extracted layer to avoid missing paint, because people's natural skin color does not have blue, which is more obvious.
Apply the image and set it as shown in the figure

Next, deal with the skin. The PS software in my laptop is a mini version of CS2, which does not support plug-in filters, so I don’t use any plug-ins. I think this is good. The software itself is already very powerful, and you need to tap its potential.
For this kind of image that is already very good, I usually use Filter-Noise-Noise Reduction (some versions are called Noise Reduction). Select "Advanced" - "Channel", and then set the intensity of the three channels to the highest value. As for "Maintain Details", the red channel is 60, and the blue and green channels can be adjusted by themselves. The parameter I usually use is about 5.
