This tutorial mainly introduces how to make crystal stars and fantasy backgrounds. The crystal star part is mainly made using layer styles. The background production is a bit more complicated and requires a combination of pens and brushes. The overall effect is very cute.
final effect
1. First create a new document of 800*800 pixels, and then use the gradient tool to draw a linear gradient color from top to bottom from #BAFF00 to #668B00 as the background.
2. Now we use the polygon tool to make the star, set the polygon tool (shape layer, radius: 10px, checked: smooth corners, star, indent edge basis: 50%).
The color is: #FFDF70, and the sides are of course 5.
Draw the following shape on the background layer, which can be rotated.
3. Now use layer style to add glossy and three-dimensional effects. Execute: Layer--Layer Style--Blending Options, Drop Shadow Style:
After setting the styles respectively, let’s take a look at the effect. It really looks like candy.
4. Finally, we need to embellish the stars to make it look less monotonous. Create a new layer below the star layer and use the pen tool to draw the following path.
