In this article, we introduce the methods and techniques of using Photoshop filters to process portrait photos into hand-drawn style cartoon effects.
1. Open a portrait photo in Photoshop. Make sure that the image file is in RGB color mode. If it is not in RGB color mode, select the menu "Image - Mode - RGB Color Mode".
Copy the layer. We use the copied new layer for special effects processing.
2. Select the menu "Filter - Artistic Effect - Poster Edge".
3. Next adjust the brightness and contrast, select the menu "Image-Adjustment-Brightness and Contrast", the setting values are: brightness 10 and contrast 30.
4. Then select the menu "Filter - Artistic Effect - Clip Art", and we can get the final cartoon illustration special effects. Isn't it very simple?
