After replacing the brighter picture of a character with a darker background, the character part appears to have no texture. When processing, the focus is on adjusting texture and color methods. As for the color and decoration, you can choose what you like.

1. Open the original image material, create a new layer, select the gradient tool, set the color to black and white, and then pull out the radial gradient shown in Figure 1.

2. Create a new layer, press the letter "D", return the front background color to the default black and white, and then execute: Filter > Render > Clouds. After confirmation, press Ctrl + Alt + F to strengthen it. The effect is as shown in Figure 2, and then Change the layer blending mode to "Soft Light", the effect is as shown in Figure 3.

3. Create a new layer, fill it with color: #4A5D7D, and then change the layer blending mode to "Overlay". The effect is as shown in Figure 4.

4. Duplicate the background layer, press Ctrl + Shift + ] to bring it to the top, then use the pen tool to cut out the character part, copy it to a new layer, and then hide the background copy layer. The effect is as shown in Figure 5.

5. Copy the cutout character layer and execute: Filter > Rendering > Lighting Effect. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 6, and the effect is as shown in Figure 7.

6. Change the layer opacity to: 30%, the effect is as shown in Figure 8.

7. Press Ctrl and click on the layer panel to pull out the thumbnail of the character layer to bring up the character selection. Create a new layer and fill it with color: #6B9495, as shown in Figure 9. After canceling the selection, change the layer blending mode to "Color Burn" and the layer opacity to: 50%. The effect is as shown in Figure 10.

8. Use the pen tool to cut out the clothes of the character and convert it into a selection as shown in Figure 11. Then create a curve adjustment layer on the top of the layer. Set the parameters as shown in Figures 12 and 13. The effect is shown in Figure 14.

9. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, and simply skin the character, as shown in Figure 15.
