This tutorial only briefly introduces some basic methods of skin whitening for people. Before processing the image, you first need to analyze the original image to see which parts need to be processed (this is completely based on your own feelings). When processing, you can be lazy and use some external filters to smooth the skin and adjust the color.

1. First, we analyze the original picture. There is a big gap between the skin of the character in this film and the skin on his face. There are obvious acne marks and spots on the skin. Now we start to correct it.
Duplicate the background layer and use the pen tool to outline part of it. After removing it, you need to blur it slightly to make it look more realistic.
2. Next, use the magic wand tool to select parts of the skin where the skin tone is significantly different, and use the Curves (Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Curves) tool to fine-tune the differences so that the differences are not so obvious. The effect is as shown below.
3. Merge the visible layers and smooth the adjusted layers. You can choose external filters. For example: Noiseware, the effect is as shown below.
