The compositing effects in this tutorial are very creative. Use real people and some machine materials to create a half-human, half-machine character effect. The entire synthesis process is relatively simple, but during the synthesis process, attention should be paid to the natural connection and color coordination of each part.
final effect
1. Open a character material.
2. Create a new layer, then use an elliptical marquee and fill it with gray. On the girl’s belly!
3. Use the burn tool (setting range: highlight; exposure: 35%) to deepen the color, and then use the dodge tool with the same parameter settings to make the bottom part brighter.
4. Create another layer and create another area in the same way as above.
5. Press Ctrl+Shift, click on the layers of the two created graphics, create a layer, use the eyedropper tool to select the color of the girl’s belly, and then execute Edit-Stroke, set as follows.
6. Now select the girl layer and use the Eraser Tool to erase the middle part of the two upper parts.
7. In order to get a better effect, we select a mechanical material and place it on the erased belly. We can perspective, distort, change, and then use the eraser tool to erase unnecessary details.
