This Photoshop tutorial uses multiple materials to synthesize a special effect that destroys a city. The effect is very good. The key is to prepare the synthesized materials and use your imagination. Some Photoshop brushes and materials are used. I hope you can find them online.
Let’s look at the final effect first
Below I will give you a rough introduction to the production ideas. We need some materials, materials and brushes.
First open a picture of a city:
Then we use the soft-edged Clone Stamp Tool and the Brush Tool to remove all the characters in the picture.
To make the photo darker, use the Brush Tool to erase most of the gold characters and the Clone Stamp Tool to remove the flowers.
Then open a flag material:
Then set the color range.
Using the Eraser Tool (large, hardness set to 0%), make the following effect.
Then adjust Black & White
Then use the move tool to move to the main screen and use the eraser to erase the unnecessary parts.
Adjust levels
We use the following tools: Clone Stamp Tool, Eraser, Brush Tool, Burn and Dodge Tools to process the image.
Use the brush tool to work on all flags and banners.
Enlarge the window and use the Brush Tool to remove some glass and some details, we use the Polygonal Lasso Tool to remove the unwanted parts.
Looking at the whole picture, we use the Lasso Tool, Move Tool and Brush Tool to work on the details.
Eliminate the flower from the image and use the Brush Tool Clone Stamp Tool and Burn Tool to work on the flower.
Now open a new material
Create a new layer, execute the Filter-Vanishing Point command and apply the above material.
Then change the layer mode to Multiply and select the Eraser Tool to remove some unnecessary parts.
Then do the material 2
Follow the same steps as above.
Then we apply material 3 to the buildings and add this material to the streets. You don't need to use the vanishing point filter.
