Step 1. Create a new file of 500px * 50px
Step 2. Use the rectangular marquee tool to set the style to a fixed aspect ratio, the width to 480px and the height to 35px, and draw a selection within the current canvas.
Step 3. Go to the Select>Modify>Smooth command, set the sampling radius to 3, then create a new layer and fill the layer with any color you want.
Step 4 Apply Layer Style: Set as follows: Gradient Overlay Color: #949494 to #d2d2d2
Projection: #b1b1b1
Step 5 Add some text, the color is #383838 and the font is Myriad Pro ( download address )
Step 6 Apply the shadow effect and set it as shown below: (Note that the blending mode here is changed to normal)
Step 7 Your navigation bar should now look like this
