The new store is about to open, but the menu hasn’t been made yet. I’m so anxious. Why is it so difficult to cut out and dissolve pictures?
Let’s take a look at what kind of homework is giving him a headache? Oh, it turns out that he needs to cut out the plate of snacks below and blend them into a new background.

Tutorial:
Open the two pictures at the same time, then merge them into the same document, and copy the original picture to adjust the layer order, as shown in the picture.
Enter the channel and take a look, find a channel with obvious contrast - the red channel and copy it. And adjust the color levels of the red channel copy to increase the contrast.
Load the selection and go back to the Layers panel to add a mask to the copy of the original image. Use a white paintbrush to restore the plate and other parts that should not be transparent.
There is still a part of the bottom of the plate that has not been cut out. Don't worry, turn off the two upper layers to display the original image, and use a path to circle the bottom of the plate.
Turn it into a selection, open the upper layer, click on the mask of the copy, and use a white brush to paint out the bottom of the plate.
Now that the shadows are still missing, we turn off the upper two layers again to only display the original image, enter the channel, and find the blue channel with obvious shadow contrast. And copy it, apply the image to the copy of the blue channel. The function of the strong light is to increase the contrast of the gray scales other than 50% gray, making the parts darker than 50% gray darker and lighter than the parts 50% gray.
After applying the image, the shadow part is more obvious.
