This example mainly introduces the use of multiple filters to create the effect of stars covered by lava.
Start by creating a new document and fill it with black using the Paint Bucket Tool as shown in the image.
Select the "Filter - Noise - Add Noise" command in the menu bar, set the quantity to "20" and the distribution to "Gaussian distribution", as shown in the figure.
Press the Ctrl+J shortcut key to copy layer 1, and set the blending mode of layer 1 to "Overlay", as shown in the picture.
Create a new layer, use the Elliptical Marquee Tool and hold down the left mouse button in the image, then hold down the Shift key and drag the mouse to create a perfect circle selection, as shown in the image.
Fill the selection with black as shown in the picture.
Select the "Filter-Rendering-Layered Clouds" command in the menu bar, as shown in the figure. If the effect is not satisfactory, you can press the Ctrl+F shortcut key and repeat it multiple times until the effect is satisfactory.
