Figure 03 Material 3The operation process of the "Iron Chain Effect" case is as follows:
1. Create an iron chain effect
(1) Execute the "FileOpen" menu command to open the "Material 1" picture, as shown in Figure 04.
Figure 04 Open the file (2) Double-click the "Background" layer to pop up the "New Layer" panel. Use the default "Layer 0" as the name. Unlock the layer and make it operable, as shown in Figure 05. Figure 05 Unlock the layer (3) Execute the "EditFree Transform" menu command, rotate the layer to a certain angle, adjust the size and position, place the chain part vertically, and press the Enter key to perform the operation, as shown in Figure 06 Show. Figure 06 Execute the "EditFree Transform" menu command(4) Switch to the path panel, click the "Create New Path" button, create a new "Path 1", click the "Pen Tool" in the toolbox, and draw the shape of a unit of the iron chain, as shown in Figure 07.

Figure 08 Delete content in the selection(6) Create a new "Layer 1" below "Layer 0" and fill the canvas with white to facilitate observation of the operation effect. Click the "Eraser Tool" in the toolbox to erase the upper part of the chain to a fade effect, such as As shown in Figure 09.
Figure 09 Wipe the upper part of the chain to fade effect (7) Drag "Layer 0" to the "Create New Layer" button, copy the "Layer 0 Copy", and move it down to the "Layer 0" layer Connect the iron chains and check whether the satisfactory effect is achieved. If the connection is not ideal, you can repeat the above operation, as shown in Figure 10. Tip: This operation step is mainly to check the connection of the two sets of iron chains, so that the defined brushes can be well connected. Figure 10 Check the effect (8) Execute the "EditFree Transform" menu command on the "Layer 0 copy", rotate the layer 90 degrees to place it in a horizontal position, and press the Enter key to perform the operation, as shown in Figure 11.
