The operation process of the "Iron Chain Effect" case is as follows:
1. Create an iron chain effect
(1) Execute the "FileOpen" menu command to open the "Material 1" picture, as shown in Figure 04.
(4) Switch to the path panel, click the "Create New Path" button, create a new "Path 1", click the "Pen Tool" in the toolbox, and draw the shape of a unit of the iron chain, as shown in Figure 07.
(5) Convert the drawn path into a selection, execute the "SelectInverse" menu command, and press the Delete key to delete the content in the selection, as shown in Figure 08.
(6) Create a new "Layer 1" below "Layer 0" and fill the canvas with white to facilitate observation of the operation effect. Click the "Eraser Tool" in the toolbox to erase the upper part of the chain to a fade effect, such as As shown in Figure 09.
(9) Click the "Crop Tool" in the toolbox, pull out the cropping box with the mouse, select only the chain part, and double-click inside the cropping box to perform cropping, as shown in Figure 12.
(10) Only display the "Copy of Layer 0", hide other layers, execute the "EditDefine Brush Preset" menu command, enter the name in the pop-up "Brush Name" dialog box, and click the "OK" button to complete the operation , as shown in Figure 13.
(11) Click the "Brush Tool" above the toolbox, open the brush drop-down menu in the options bar, and select the stored "Iron Chain" brush, as shown in Figure 14.
(12) Open the "Brush" panel, in the "Brush Presets" dialog box, in the "Shape Dynamics" option, select "Direction" in the "Control" text box in "Angle Jitter", and in the "Brush Tip Shape" "Spacing" in the option bar is set to 150%, as shown in Figure 15 and Figure 16.
