1. Now we start from the eyebrows, drag the background layer to [Create New Layer] to get a copy of the background. Select the Lasso tool from the toolbox, draw a loose selection around the eyebrows, and press Alt+ctrl +D key combination, feather.
2. After selecting the eyebrow feathering, press [ctrl+j] to get an independent layer for the eyebrows [Layer 1]. In the layer palette, switch the [Blending Mode] of the eyebrows from [Normal] to [Multiple] Bottom], which darkens the layer piece.
3. Press the Alt key and click the layer mask icon at the bottom of the layer palette (pressing the Alt key will fill it with black, which will hide the multiply effect. You can see that the eyebrows look back to normal. Then, press the letter D to set the foreground color to white.
4. Select a soft-edged brush close to the largest part of the eyebrows. Go to the options bar and reduce the opacity of the brush to 50%. Then, use the brush to apply on the eyebrows from right to left. Press the left square bracket key during the application process. The brush size becomes smaller and the smearing action will show a multiply effect, thus darkening the brows.
