This tutorial provides a comprehensive introduction to the production of trendy style 3D character effects. Starting from the background part, to the production of some decorative effects. Finally, comes the production of the text part. The author's 3D characters were completed in AI, but they can also be made in PS.

1. Create a new file of 1280×1024 px, 72 dpi (File > New). Then select the Rectangle Tool (U) and draw a rectangle across the entire work area. Then set Blending Options > Gradient Overlay. Set as shown below:
