This tutorial mainly uses several blur filters and masks to create the effect of water flow in the river.

Tutorial steps are as follows
First open this picture. Since we just want to have the effect of water, we need to adjust the contrast of the picture to make the rocks stand out as much as possible. Here we use "Image" --- "Adjustment"----" Shadow/Highlight" to adjust. After adjusting the picture, you will find that the brightness of the picture has also been improved.
As the brightness increases, the noise in the picture also appears. Don't underestimate this. The author always mentions in the tutorials that "details can make a big difference", so we must be careful when designing. . . . You can find noise reduction in "Filter" - "Noise" - "Reduce Noise". I won’t go into details here, everyone should have used this when taking photos.
STEP2
Then we select the place where the water and fields are separated in the picture, copy the layer, create a new layer and put it in this new layer, named it water flow.
Next, we adjust this part of the "Image" --- "Adjustment". Here we need to adjust the two parts, namely "Hue" and "Contrast". (Note that in Image < Adjustment < "Hue/Saturation" we only need to adjust the saturation of the image Just make him look retro.)
STEP3
Next is a very important part, which is to create a mask. The purpose of creating a mask is to quickly create a selection. This selection should include the water part, and it is also applied to the water flow layer. The tool circled in red in the picture is a tool for creating a quick mask. Click the one on the right, use the brush tool, make the stroke thicker, and change the hardness to 0. Paint all the water parts, and the masked area will be expressed in red. Just like the picture below, then use an eraser to erase the part of the rock covered by the red mask, just like the picture.
Next, you need to make the mask rounder. Click "Filter" --- "Blur" --- "Gaussian Blur" at about 2 pixels. The main thing is to make the edge of the rock not too hard. , click "Edit in Standard Mode" on the left side of the red circle to convert it into a selection. Then click "Select"--"Reverse" to select the water surface. (Note the water flow layer when selected).
STEP4
The next step is to make a blur filter. Select the water flow layer, "Filter"---"Blur"----"Gaussian Blur" to make the water flow more illusory. I don't know how to describe it, but it's almost like this. I mean, the blur radius is about 8 pixels
Duplicate the background layer, adjust the layer order to the top, and name it "Flow 1"
