In this article, we use Photoshop to do some magical swapping and synthesis of the faces of two portrait photos. As shown in the picture below, we replace the man’s face in the left picture with a girl’s face.
Left: Photo before face transplant. Middle: Photo of girl preparing to be replaced. Right: Photo after face transplant.
The processing process is as follows:
1. Click the Photoshop menu "File > Open" to open the two prepared photos, one is the image that only needs the face and the other is the changed image, as shown below. (Note: It doesn’t matter whether the colors of the two images are the same, but the light angles are best to be consistent, because it is relatively easy to adjust the color, but it is not easy to adjust the light)
2. To change the face, we must first cut out the image. We must first cut out the girl’s face. Click the pen tool in the toolbox and start positioning nodes along the obvious bend around the head. Instead of dragging with the mouse, just click with the mouse. Photoshop will automatically connect the two nodes for you. If the space for positioning nodes in your image is too small, you can use the magnification tool to enlarge the image or hold down the "Ctrl" + "+" keys before positioning the nodes. After clicking around the head, click again on the first node so that the path is connected end to end. If you want to adjust the position of the node, click the select tool in the toolbox and use it to move the node to the appropriate location. Position, the image after setting the node is as shown below.
3. At this point you can see that the outline of the path is still relatively unsmooth, don’t worry, let’s modify it now. Click the tool. This tool can adjust the curve of the lines on both sides of each node to make it more closely fit the curve of the head. As shown below.
4. Click the menu "Window > Show Paths" or click the Path label on the panel to bring up the path panel. Click the third button below the panel to load the path as a selection. At this time, on the image You can see that the path changes into the corresponding selection.
5. Select the move tool in the toolbox, press and hold the selection, and move the girl's avatar to another image, as shown below.
6. At this point, you can see that the size and angle of the girl's avatar do not match well. You must adjust it, otherwise it will become a big head and a crooked neck. Click the menu "Edit > Free Stransform" or press the shortcut key Ctrl+T. An adjustment box will appear on the head. Hold down the Shift key and drag the endpoint of the adjustment box with the mouse to adjust the size of the avatar, and then Place the mouse outside the four top corners of the adjustment box. When the mouse turns into a curved arrow, you can adjust the angle of the image. When you are satisfied with the adjustment, just press Enter and use the move tool to move it to the appropriate position. , as shown in the figure.
7. At this time, you can see that the image has basically moved over, but you find that there are many images that are not reasonable. For example, the edges of the image are too sharp, and the forehead part and color of the image are not natural. , giving people the feeling of wearing a mask?
8. Select the polygon selection tool in the toolbox to select the excess part of the forehead, press the delete key to delete it, and press the Ctrl+D keys to cancel the selection as shown.
9. Select the base image as the working layer, click the stamp tool in the toolbox, hold down the Alt key, and when the mouse changes to a stamp, select the edge of the face, release the Alt key, and select the layer of the girl's head as the working layer. , use the mouse to click on the edge of the girl's image. At this time, you can find that the edge of the face is integrated with the base image. (The function of the stamp is to copy the selected area and point.) Repeat this bit by bit to make the face The edge color is similar to the base image.
10. Select the sponge tool in the toolbox and rub the edges of the image to make it blurry and blend better with the base image. Finish.
