This tutorial is an example of image synthesis using Photoshop. The method is very simple and is achieved by using layer mode, brushes and masks! It is suitable for beginners to practice.
Production idea: First find a picture of fireworks, then find a picture of a night scene, and use Photoshop to place the fireworks on the night scene picture to achieve a perfect synthesis effect. It is mainly achieved by using Photoshop to change the layer mode, mask and brush.

Picture 2
Final effect.
The production process is as follows.
Start photoshop, open the two images above, and then use the move tool to move the fireworks image to the night scene image.
Then select the upper layer, press Ctrl+T to transform it, and hold down Shift to make it smaller.
Then change the layer mode to "Screen", the effect is as follows.
At this time, if you need a rough effect, that's it! If you are careful, you may find that some fireworks block the buildings behind, so we have to find a way to show the buildings behind. What method? Add a mask to layer 1. Then enlarge the picture and use a brush to erase the buildings behind it. When using the brush, just set the foreground color to black. Lower the opacity, here I'm going to 25%
If you made a mistake above! You can open the picture of the fireworks again and do it again. Finally, make a copy of the layer and adjust it to opacity.
The final effect is as shown before.
