The concepts we create all come from practice. The reason why we take great pains to create such concise concepts is to visualize abstract ideas and technologies so that everyone, especially students with basic deviations, can better understand; and we are very excited about it. What's more, through these creative concepts, our understanding of SEO has been brought to a higher level, and our SEO practice has become clearer and more organized.
The seemingly huge and complex SEO technology is sorted out here through these concepts:
Through the concepts of target keywords and long-tail keywords, we know the purpose and direction of SEO: use the homepage as target keywords, and use content pages and column pages to optimize long-tail keywords.
Through anchor text, preferred domain, URL standardization, secondary navigation, four words, keyword density, search bounce rate, etc., we know the main content of SEO on-site optimization.
We continue to implement a large number of websites and always listen to feedback from friends on the front line of practice. We thank them for always bringing us wisdom and inspiration.
The concept I want to tell you today excites me because it can take our thinking a big step forward. Through this thinking, we can guide us to deal with the problems we encounter in a targeted manner.
In the process of practice, we found that there are some rules for the website to be included:
1. Compared with other inner pages, the home page has the highest probability of being included;
1. Compared with other inner pages, the home page has the highest probability of being hacked;
2. The internal pages or column pages with long-term links on the homepage have a very high probability of being included;
3. The pages or columns linked to each page have a very high inclusion rate;
4. The links stored on the above three pages with a very high probability of being included are often very easy to be included.
Here's an example:
1. The homepage is often well included because of the large number of links within the site;
2. Some internal page links that are long-term links on the homepage, as shown below, are basically well included and have great weight;
3. The pages or columns that each page links to, as shown below, are basically well included and have a large weight;
We call the above pages (URL) that are easy to be included and have a high weight after being included as weight pages.
The significance and operation methods of the weight page:
1.
Because the links placed on the weighted pages tend to have a high rate of inclusion, we must try our best to find ways to make many internal pages (non-weighted pages) in the site appear on the weighted pages, thus increasing the probability of them being included.
For example: "About Us", "Contact Us", "Copyright Statement", "After-sales Service", etc. are weighted pages on general websites, but there are often no links on these pages, which is a big waste.
Now we know that we need to layout these pages reasonably so that 30-50 links to content pages can be placed on these pages.
Because there is a lot of web content and limited weight pages, try to consider putting different internal page links on different weight pages to ensure that more internal pages can appear on a certain weight page.
2.
Because the weight of the weighted pages themselves is very high, it is very effective to optimize some long-tail pages on these pages.
For example: For the "About Us" page, most websites don't consider what words to optimize using this page. Now that we know it is a weighted page, we can think of ways to do it.
Arrange some keywords on this page, for example: arrange the keyword "name of the company" to use this page. "Contact us" can optimize the keyword "company name" + where. "After-sales service" can optimize the keyword "company name" + how about it.
3.
Now, we know how many weight pages there are on the website, but there are also some "weight pages" that cannot perform the above two operations, such as: registration page, login page, shopping cart and other pages.
These pages will have the same weight, but it seems inappropriate to place other links on these pages, so what should I do?
You can consider making them not "weighted pages" by using "nofollow".
By using "nofollow", the loss of weight can be reduced, thereby increasing the weight of other weight pages.
Regarding the weight page, if you still have questions, please reply directly and we will answer them where you submitted them. This tutorial will continue to be improved based on everyone’s communication.
Everyone’s questions:
1. How do search engines know which page is an important page?
Similar to what was mentioned above, if some pages have links throughout the site, search engines will often give them a high weight, such as particularly good rankings or relatively high PR values.
2. How do we know which pages are important pages?
Generally, the pages that are linked to by the entire site are weighted pages, such as the About Us and Contact Us pages mentioned above. In addition, links that have been placed on the homepage for a long time are often also weighted pages.
Every time the thinking improves and collides, we always see many students getting inspired and excited from it, which makes us feel gratified. There is quite a saying that "a scholar will die for his confidant"
