This example uses the "Define Pattern" function of Photoshop and the "Polar Coordinate" filter to produce a symbolic fingerprint effect, which is used as a special effect on the text to highlight the theme.
First, create a new file in Photoshop with a width of 1 pixel, a height of 24 pixels, and a transparent background.
Using the selection tool, select the upper part of the shape and fill it with black.
CTRL+D to cancel the selection, select the Edit/Define Pattern menu item, define the image as a pattern, and close the file.
Create a new file, 800X600 pixels, with a transparent background.
Select the paint bucket tool, use pattern filling mode, select the pattern just defined and fill it, the effect is as follows.
Select the "Filter/Distort/Polar Coordinates..." filter to produce a symbolic fingerprint effect.
Select the text tool, write the word "case", set the size to 36, and make the font bold.
Press CTRL + click on the text layer to get the selection of "case", and then delete this text layer. Enter the "Path" window and click the "Generate working path from selection" button below to convert the selection into a path. .
Then select the Edit/Free Transform Path menu item and enlarge the path of the word "case" to a suitable size. In this way, we got a less standard path of the word "case", which is also the purpose of our text enlargement. Now we can't tell what style it is. .
Click the "Load path as selection" button under the "Path" window to get the selection with the word "case".
Return to the "Layer" window, press CTRL+C, CTRL+V, get the word "case" in the fingerprint, and create a new layer.
Hide the background layer and you can see the word "case" as follows.
Select the "Edit/Free Transform" menu, subtract 1 from the X and Y coordinates in the property bar, and confirm the transformation.
Press the CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+T key combination 10 times to produce a three-dimensional dislocation as follows.
Open the material image and copy the content.
CTRL+click on the top layer to get a text selection. Then, select the Edit/Paste menu item and paste in the image. The effect is as follows.
Then, combine all the text layers that produce a three-dimensional effect into one, and name it "case".
Create a new layer below the top layer, take out the knife from the knife material picture, paste it into this layer again, and name it "Knife".
And adjust the position so that the knife and the knife on the upper layer are in the same position.
CTRL + click on the merged "case" word layer to get the selection, select the "knife" layer, press the delete key, delete the content in the selection, and get the picture below.
Select the knife layer and perform Filter/Blur/Motion Blur.
Produces the following effects.
Adjust the hue/saturation of the knife layer according to your own preferences, add the background, and you're done.
