The first step is to start Photoshop and open a photo to create a paper-cut effect. As shown in Figure 1.

Note: Paper-cutting is a traditional Chinese folk art. Not all photos can achieve the effect of paper-cutting. Therefore, it is best to use pictures of flowers, birds, and people that are close to Chinese culture. This can make the processed effect more realistic. .
In the second step, use the "Lasso" tool to create a selection along the edge of the flower in the picture, then create a blank page, copy and paste the content of the selection to the blank page. At this time, execute the "Image→Adjustment→Decolorize" command to make the image black and white, and then execute the "Image→Adjustment→Invert" command to invert the image. The effect is shown in Figure 2.

The third step is to confirm that the newly pasted layer is activated, set the foreground color to white and the background color to red. Execute the "Filter → Sketch → Photocopy" command to open the "Photocopy" dialog box, in which set "Details" to 9 and "Darkness" to 50. After applying this filter, the paper-cut effect has come out. At this time, select "Brush" "Tool uses red to repair some "breakpoints" to complete the creation of paper-cut works. The effect is shown in Figure 3.
