In this article, we use Photoshop’s pattern filling method to process a daily photo taken at the beach into an ID photo.
Look at the original picture first
Open this photo in Photoshop: crop, remove cluttered background, and adjust according to the standard size of one-inch ID photo (2.5 cm * 3.5 cm, resolution 300).
Open the image, set the canvas size, add 0.46 cm to the width of the ID photo and 0.73 cm to the height; fill it with white and click OK;
Edit, define pattern, OK.
Create a new file with dimensions of 8.89 cm * 12.7 cm (five inches); resolution 300; OK.
Open the edit, fill, select the pattern, and click OK to generate the ID photo.
