In this tutorial, we use Photoshop to process a photo into a special effect of "digital pixel blocks". The production method is relatively simple and suitable for beginners.
Production idea: First, pixelate the image, then create a mask, set different opacity and layer modes, so as to achieve the effect we want.

Production steps:
Open the original image in Photoshop, press Ctrl+J to copy the layer, and perform the mosaic filter.
Create a mask for layer 1, set the foreground color and background color, set the gradient fill effect, and perform filling as shown in the picture.
The first effect above appears! Next we create the second effect.
Press Ctrl+Z to cancel the above operation. We use a brush to achieve this. Use the brush to paint out the character's face.
You can lower the opacity to 75%.
Set the layer mode to "Darken" and the effect will be as follows.
