As long as you study Photoshop carefully and systematically, become familiar with the functions of its various tools, and use your imagination in combination, you can also express the creative intentions of traditional art.
Here we provide an example of using Photoshop to draw Chinese paintings for your reference.
1. Complete the renderings
2. Create a new file
3. Use filters/clouds/color blocking/relief effects to create rock textures;
4. Use the selection tool or eraser tool to create distant mountains;
5. Copy the distant mountain layer and use the deformation tool to create distant mountain, mid-range mountain, and close-range mountain;
6. Adjust the size, height, and shade of the mountains on each layer to form the preliminary composition of the work.
7. Use the brush tool/drop splash to draw the clouds, and use the deformation tool to adjust the momentum of the clouds.
Copy the cloud layer several times, place it where needed according to the virtual and real distance requirements, and adjust, deform, thicken and lighten it.
8. To create the sky, use a white background layer, invert a cloud layer, and copy it twice, one thick and one light, to create the momentum needed for the composition. Rivers, boats, etc. are treated symbolically; curves are used to adjust the black and white fields to create ice and snow effects. Make final adjustments to the overall effect: highlight the contours of the rocks and use Filter/Sharpen/Sharpen the edges a few times;
9. The combination of each layer is as follows:
10. Do some coloring, adjust the hue according to the picture, and finally write the inscription.
