This article introduces the methods and techniques of installing and using fonts in Photoshop.

If we install all our fonts into the font folder, it will inevitably increase the system load and affect the system's running speed, so we want to find a font that does not take up space on the C drive and is easy to use, especially in photoshop. Methods and techniques used. Let’s solve it in several parts below.
1. Storage of files
It is best not to put the font files we get on the C drive in order to save space on the C drive. Of course, if your computer configuration is very high and there is sufficient space, that is another matter. We can create a folder in other drive letters, such as selecting drive d, drive e, etc. to store them. It is impossible to use all tens of thousands of fonts. Copy the fonts you commonly use and like to a new folder for later use.
2. Space-saving font installation method
First go to the C drive--WINDOWS--Fonts folder, click File--Install new fonts. See Figure 1

At this time, an "Add Font" dialog box will appear. Find the path to the folder where you store the fonts separately, and click Select All. Please note that the check in front of "Copy fonts to the Fonts folder" must be removed, and then click OK. The font is installed. In fact, we did not install the font, only a shortcut was installed.
