Although electronic magazine design software such as Zinemaker provides many page templates that can be used to change backgrounds and other images, many image processing still needs to be done in Photoshop.
In the process of electronic magazine production, it is often necessary to use pictures of the same size. If it is just a background, then it can be processed in Photoshop. However, for some picture display templates, modifying them one by one is boring and time-consuming. At this time, we can use Photoshop's "Action" tool to record the action, and then apply the action to other pictures for the same quick processing.
For example, we want to change 10 pictures into pictures with a size of 300*400 pixels. The steps are as follows:
Step 1: Create a new action. Open a picture in a series gallery, click the "Action" option under the "Window" menu, and open the "Action Panel". Create a new "Sequence 1" in the "Action" panel, and create a new "Action 1" under it. When the red dot is pressed, it means that it is currently in the recording action stage. In this way, it is like a video recorder monitoring our actions and then performing the required processing. As shown in Figure 7.
Step 2: Set the action and record. Because there is no guarantee that the proportion of the image can be exactly scaled to 300*400, the image size is modified first. Once completed, an action step will be added to the Actions panel. Create a new 300*400 image, copy the layer of the previous image to the new image, and move it to the appropriate position. You can find that the "Action Panel" has recorded all the actions just now. At this time we can press the "stop button", which is the button on the side, to stop recording. Then this picture can be saved and closed.
Step 3: Perform batch processing operations on other images. Next, just open the rest of the pictures one by one, then select "Action 1" and click the "Play" button of the "Action Panel". That's it. The final work is to save the file. As shown in Figure 8.
[Tips] It should be noted that if a certain step is not needed, you can delete it or uncheck the previous check, so that this step will not be executed. In addition, after you finish saving a picture, it is best to close it. Because the action involves "previous document" and "next document", if all pictures are imported, the program may get the wrong document.
